I thought a Covid times review would be helpful as things have changed significantly. The magnificent country house Anglesey Abbey is famous for its stunning interior and gardens. Formerly a medieval Augustinian priory, the house is located in the village of Lode, near Cambridge, England. Today, it is owned by the National Trust, and along with its gardens and Lode Mill (built in the 18th century and sited on […] Anglesey Abbey looks to be an ancient building. I know from the introduction that it was built in 1926 and was not completed until 1966. As a church, although its appearance is inconspicuous, it has luxurious furniture, art works and exquisite clock collections inside.
